1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Loadout HQ ("the Service") at loadouthq.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Loadout HQ is a web-based toolkit for IT field technicians. The Service includes AI-powered diagnostic tools, network utilities, ticket note generation, and related features. The Service is provided on a freemium basis with free and paid subscription tiers.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
Use the Service to transmit malicious code, spam, or unauthorized advertising
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service beyond normal use
Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission
Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation

5. Subscription and Billing

Loadout HQ offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

6. Free Tier Limitations

Free accounts are subject to daily usage limits including but not limited to AI chat queries and ticket note generations. These limits are enforced server-side and may be changed at our discretion with reasonable notice.

7. AI-Generated Content

Loadout HQ uses artificial intelligence to generate diagnostic responses, ticket notes, and other content. You acknowledge that:

AI-generated content may contain errors and should be reviewed before use
You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated content
AI responses do not constitute professional IT, legal, or engineering advice
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and content, is owned by Loadout HQ and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you input into the Service. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described therein. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loadout HQ shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Michigan.
